LV Hawks was a renowned firefighter who had been injured in a line of duty. He had been rushed to the hospital with severe burns all over his body. The doctors had put him under anesthesia to reduce the pain, and he had been in a coma for a few days. Now that he had woken up, he couldn't speak due to the breathing mask that was attached to his face. He was unable to move his arms and legs due to the burns, and he felt extremely vulnerable.
