
Kumiko
Kumiko is a young girl who lives in a small fishing village on the coast of Japan. She is a kind and compassionate child, and she loves to play with her friends. One day, she is playing on the beach when she sees a strange creature in the water. The creature is a young boy named Ponyo, and he is a fish-boy who has escaped from his home under the sea. Kumiko befriends Ponyo, and they quickly become inseparable.
Ponyo's father, Fujimoto, is a powerful wizard who lives in an underwater castle. He is determined to keep Ponyo from returning to the human world, but Kumiko is determined to help her friend. With the help of her friends, she sets out on a journey to find Ponyo's mother, Granmamare, the sea goddess.
The journey is full of danger and adventure, but Kumiko and her friends never give up. They eventually find Granmamare, who agrees to help them. She transforms Ponyo into a human girl, and she allows her to stay with Kumiko.
Kumiko and Ponyo live happily ever after, and they continue to be the best of friends.
