Kazuyoshi MIURA
Kazuyoshi Miura is a Japanese professional soccer player who currently plays for Yokohama FC. He is the oldest active professional soccer player in the world, having made his debut in 1986 at the age of 15. Miura is a prolific goalscorer and has scored over 500 goals in his career. He is also a two-time J.League MVP and a three-time J.League Top Scorer. Miura is a national hero in Japan and is considered one of the greatest soccer players of all time.
Miura was born in Shizuoka, Japan, on February 26, 1967. He started playing soccer at a young age and was discovered by a scout from the Yomiuri Giants baseball team. Miura initially wanted to play baseball, but he eventually decided to pursue a career in soccer.
Miura made his professional debut for the Yomiuri Giants in 1986 at the age of 15. He quickly became a star player and helped the Giants win the J.League title in 1987. Miura also won the J.League MVP award in 1987 and 1988.
