Once upon a time, in the year 1934, the German Navy began construction on a new class of light cruisers. The Leipzig-class was designed to be a versatile and powerful addition to the fleet, capable of performing a variety of tasks. The second ship in the class, the Nürnberg, was launched in 1935 and quickly became a symbol of German naval power.
