Jung Gu-won
Jung Gu-won was a powerful demon who had been taking souls for centuries. He was feared by many and respected by few. His tattoo of a cross was the source of his life powers, but it also made him vulnerable to those who sought to destroy him. One day, while on his usual soul-collecting mission, Gu-won encountered a young woman named Do Do-hee who was in danger of being killed by a ruthless killer. Without hesitation, he saved her life by pushing her out of the way of the killer's bullet. In the process, they both fell into the river and Do-hee accidentally took Gu-won's tattoo.
