Io Shirai was born and raised in Japan, where she discovered her love for professional wrestling at a young age. She idolized the likes of Hikaru Shida and Meiko Satomura, and dreamed of one day becoming a top wrestler herself. Io trained hard and honed her skills, eventually making a name for herself in the Japanese independent scene.
