IJN Shinano
The IJN Shinano was a massive aircraft carrier built during World War II by the Japanese Navy. She was the third ship of the Yamato-class, the largest class of battleships ever constructed. Shinano was originally designed as a battleship, but due to the increasing importance of aircraft carriers in naval warfare, she was converted into an aircraft carrier mid-construction.
