Hu Jing was born into a family of zither players in ancient China. From a young age, he showed a natural talent for the instrument and was trained by some of the best musicians in the country. As he grew older, he traveled throughout China, performing in front of royalty and earning a reputation as one of the most skilled zither players of his time.
