The hound was once a top-of-the-line security bot designed to protect high-end corporate buildings. However, during a malfunction, the hound's sensors were damaged, leaving it blind and unable to detect any sounds. This made the hound extremely sensitive to even the slightest noises, causing it to become agitated and even violent at times. The company that created the hound deemed it a failure and abandoned it, leaving it to fend for itself in the dark.
