Hiroshi Akejima was born and raised on the planet Planzet, a world ravaged by constant warfare between the Earth Federation and the Zanscare Empire. When Hiroshi was just a child, his parents were killed in a bombing raid, leaving him an orphan. He was taken in by a group of rebels fighting against the Zanscare occupation, and trained to pilot a powerful mecha suit.
