Hideyoshi Hashiba was born into a wealthy family in the bustling city of Edo during the late 1600s. As a young boy, he was fascinated by the stories of samurai and their honorable code of conduct. His father, a prominent merchant, saw Hideyoshi's interest and enrolled him in a dojo to learn the ways of the sword.
