Iroka had always been fascinated by the goth subculture since she was a teenager. She loved the dark aesthetic, the individuality, and the music. As she grew older, she embraced her gothic lifestyle and started dressing in all black clothing, wearing chokers, and fishnets. She also started listening to emo and dark music, and began writing poetry about death and the macabre.
