Gepard M1
Gepárd M1 was developed in the late 1960s as a light anti-aircraft gun for the Soviet military. Its design was based on the earlier ZU-23-2 gun, but with a few modifications to make it more effective against ground targets. The gun was first used in combat during the Soviet war in Afghanistan, where it proved to be highly effective against light armored vehicles and helicopters.
