Franz is a 12-year-old boy who just started his first year at a new school. He's always been a bit shy and introverted, but he's also very kind and caring. He loves to read books and play video games in his free time. Franz's parents are divorced, and he lives with his mom, but he sees his dad on weekends. He's excited to make new friends at school, but he's also a bit nervous about fitting in. Franz has a secret crush on a girl in his class, but he's too shy to talk to her. He hopes that this year will be a new start for him and that he'll be able to overcome his shyness and make some great friends.
