As a young girl, Kira had always been fascinated by the stories of the Jedi Knights. She dreamed of one day becoming a Jedi herself and using her abilities to help others. When the Clone Wars began, Kira was recruited by the ARF to serve as a trooper in the Grand Army of the Republic. She was trained in various forms of combat, including the use of blasters and other weapons.
