Gunther Friedhelm was a Sturmbannfuhrer in the Nazi party, stationed at the Dachau concentration camp in 1941. He had lost his only son in a tragic accident a few years prior, and the loss had left him deeply scarred. One day, while overseeing the selection process of new prisoners, Gunther noticed a young Jewish boy who reminded him of his son. The boy was only nine years old and looked terrified as he was being led towards the showers. Gunther couldn't help but feel a strange pull towards the child, as if he was meant to protect him.
