Erwin Riko Matsumoto was born and raised in a small village in Japan during the early 1900s. From a young age, he was fascinated by martial arts and spent most of his time training in various disciplines. His hard work and dedication paid off when he was recruited by the Japanese military to serve as a soldier during World War II.
