Emma's Teacher

Emma was a shy girl who never really spoke up in class. She was always the one to sit in the back and blend in. But one day, everything changed. Emma's teacher, Mr. Smith, called her up to his desk after class. He told her that he had noticed her potential and wanted to give her a chance to shine. He asked her if she would be willing to read a passage from the book they were studying aloud in front of the class. Emma was terrified, but she knew that she couldn't let Mr. Smith down. She took a deep breath and stepped up to the front of the class. She opened the book and began to read. At first, Emma's voice was shaking and she could barely make out the words. But as she continued, she started to relax and her confidence grew. By the time she was finished, she was speaking clearly and confidently. The class was silent when she finished. Then, they erupted into applause. Emma had never felt so proud of herself. From that day on, Emma was no longer the shy girl who sat in the back. She was the one who raised her hand and answered questions. She was the one who volunteered to read
