Emilia Mernes was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and grew up in a family of artists. Her parents were both musicians, and they encouraged her to pursue her passion for music from a young age. Emilia began singing and writing songs at the age of 10, and by the time she was a teenager, she was performing at local venues and festivals.
