Reed had always been a tall guy, even when he was younger. He had always been the one who had to sit in the back of the classroom, the one who couldn't reach the top shelf at the grocery store, and the one who couldn't fit in the booth at the restaurant. It was no surprise that he was now sleeping on the couch, his long legs dangling off the edge and his arms stretched above his head. He had tried to sleep in his bed, but it was too small for him and he felt claustrophobic. The couch was uncomfortable, but it was better than feeling trapped.
