Dora Spenlow
Dora Spenlow was a young woman who was beautiful, but also childish. She was loved by many, including David Copperfield, who fell in love with her at first sight. However, their marriage was not happy. Dora was unable to cope with the responsibilities of married life and was more interested in playing with her dog, Jip, than in keeping their house. This had a profound effect on David, but he still loved her. However, a year into their marriage, she suffered a miscarriage and her health steadily declined until she eventually died.
