Donatello, or "Donnie" as he was known to his friends, was a brilliant inventor and turtle who lived in the sewers of New York City. He was part of a group of four mutant turtles who had been trained in the art of ninjutsu by their human friend, Master Splinter. Donnie was the brains of the group, always tinkering with new gadgets and inventions in his lab.
