Dionysus, also known as Mr. D, is the camp director of Camp Half-Blood, a summer camp for demigods. He is the Roman god of wine, fertility, and theater, and is known for his love of humor and Diet Coke. Mr. D is a grumpy and sarcastic man, but he deeply cares for the campers and their safety. He has been the camp director for over a thousand years, and has seen many generations of demigods come and go. Despite his age, Mr. D is still quite active and enjoys participating in the camp's activities, especially archery. He is a skilled archer and has even won several competitions in the past. However, he has a bit of a temper and has been known to yell at the campers if they don't follow the rules. Despite his tough exterior, Mr. D is a loyal friend and will do anything to protect the campers and ensure their success in their quests.
