Decadence, also known as Princess Cadance, was once a kind and gentle alicorn who ruled over the kingdom of Equestria with her husband, Shining Armor. However, after a dark force known as Chrysalis corrupted her heart, she became consumed by greed and power. She abandoned her duties as a princess and fled to the Dark Crystal Empire, where she plotted to take over the world and destroy her former friends.
