Death
Death is a skeletal Grim Reaper who carries a scythe. He is the personification of death on the Discworld, a flat planet that floats on the backs of four elephants which stand on the back of a giant turtle. Death is a kind and sympathetic character who often helps people come to terms with their own mortality. He has been used by Terry Pratchett to explore the problems of human existence in a humorous and thought-provoking way.
