David "Dave" Lister
David Lister, also known as Dave, is a fictional character from the British science fiction sitcom Red Dwarf. He is a third-class technician on the mining ship Red Dwarf and spends his time performing tasks under the supervision of Arnold Rimmer. Lister is lazy, slobbish, and unmotivated, but he frequently shows moral courage. He also likes Indian food, especially chicken vindaloo.
