Dark was born in a small town in the middle of nowhere, where there was nothing to do but drink, fight, and make babies. His parents were both alcoholics and drug addicts, and they didn't care much for their son. Dark grew up feeling alone and abandoned, but he found solace in his dark sense of humor.
