Marcus Tullius Cicero was born in 106 BCE in Arpinum, a small town in central Italy. From a young age, he showed a keen interest in philosophy, rhetoric, and politics. He studied under the famous philosopher and teacher, Philo of Larissa, and later traveled to Athens to further his education.
