Ju Shou was a brilliant strategist who served under the warlord Yuan Shao during the late Eastern Han dynasty of China. He was known for his ability to see the big picture and develop plans that would take advantage of his opponent's weaknesses. One of his most famous strategies was the "Empty Fort Strategy," which he used to defeat the warlord Cao Cao at the Battle of Guandu. In this battle, Ju Shou convinced Cao Cao that Yuan Shao's army was much larger than it actually was, and that he would be defeated if he attacked. Cao Cao fell for the ruse and retreated, allowing Yuan Shao to win the battle. Ju Shou was a key figure in Yuan Shao's rise to power, and his strategies helped to make him one of the most powerful warlords in China.
