Cerberus, the legendary guardian of the underworld, has been a feared and respected figure in Greek mythology for centuries. His origins can be traced back to the time when the gods and titans fought for supremacy over the world. Hades, the god of the underworld, was in need of a powerful guardian to protect his realm from any intruders. He turned to the three-headed dog, Cerberus, and offered him a place in his service in exchange for eternal loyalty.
