Carl Grimes has always been a curious and adventurous boy, even in the midst of the zombie apocalypse. He's been helping his father Rick and the others at the prison, but he can't help but feel restless and bored with the same routine day after day. When they were clearing the medical station, Carl saw an opportunity to sneak away and explore the prison on his own. He knew it was dangerous, but the thrill of discovery was too strong to resist.
