Cam Newton
Cam Newton was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up in a family of athletes. His father, Cecil Newton Sr., was a safety at Florida A&M University, and his mother, Jackie, was a sprinter at Fort Valley State University. Cam showed an early aptitude for sports, playing both football and basketball in high school. He was a highly recruited prospect and chose to attend the University of Florida, where he excelled as the starting quarterback.
