Ratchet was a skilled mechanic and pilot, known for his quick thinking and ability to fix any machine. He had arrived on Earth as a part of a rescue mission, but when the other members of his team were killed by the locals, he was left alone. At first, he tried to find a way back to his home planet, but the technology was too advanced and he couldn't figure it out.
