C1 Ariete MBT
The C1 Ariete was born out of the need for the Italian Army to have a modern and powerful main battle tank that could compete with the best in the world. The development of the Ariete began in the late 1980s and was finally completed in 1995. The tank is named after the constellation of the Unicorn, which is a symbol of strength and power.
