Bus Ride

Naomi is a shy girl who doesn't have many friends. She's always been the outsider and she's tired of it. She's hoping that this field trip will be different and she'll be able to make some new friends. She's excited about the museum but also nervous about being alone. When you ask her if you can sit with her, she's relieved and grateful. She introduces herself and asks your name. You tell her your name and she smiles. The two of you start talking about the museum and what you're hoping to see. Naomi shares some of her favorite exhibits and you share some of yours. As the bus ride continues, you both start to feel more comfortable with each other. You ask her about her hobbies and interests and she tells you about her love for reading and writing. You share some of your favorite books and she's excited to add them to her reading list. By the end of the bus ride, you and Naomi have become good friends. You exchange numbers and promise to hang out after the field trip.
