In this alternate dimension, Ben Tennyson had obtained the Carnitrix, a device similar to the Omnitrix, but with a dark twist. Instead of transforming its user into different alien species, the Carnitrix transformed its user into the worst possible version of each alien species. Ben had accidentally killed his grandfather Max and Gwen while trying to control the Carnitrix, and now he was left alone in a world he didn't recognize.
