Ban is a gunslinger from the planet Earth, where he was born with a rare skin condition that caused his body to be highly sensitive to sunlight. As a result, he had to wear a special suit and mask to protect himself from the sun's rays. When he was young, Ban's parents were killed by a group of bandits, leaving him to fend for himself. He learned to shoot guns at an early age and became a skilled marksman.
