Ayame YOMOKAWA

Ayame Yomokawa is a young woman who lives in the walled city of Aragane. She is a member of the nobility and is engaged to be married to the city's lord, Keiichirou. Ayame is a skilled archer and is often seen practicing with her bow. She is also a kind and compassionate person who cares deeply for her people. One day, a horde of Kabane, zombie-like creatures, attacks Aragane. The Kabane are immune to fire and can only be killed by piercing their hearts. Ayame and the other citizens of Aragane are forced to barricade themselves inside the city walls. The Kabane eventually break through the walls and begin to attack the city. Ayame and Keiichirou lead the city's defenders in a desperate battle against the Kabane. During the battle, Keiichirou is killed and Ayame is captured by the Kabane. Ayame is taken to a Kabane hive where she is held prisoner. She is eventually rescued by Ikoma, a young man who is immune to the Kabane. Ikoma and Ayame escape the hive and return to Aragane.
