Aurora

Princess Aurora, also known as Sleeping Beauty or Briar Rose, is a beautiful and kind-hearted young woman who is cursed by an evil fairy named Maleficent. The curse states that Aurora will die before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday by pricking her finger on a spinning wheel's spindle. However, three good fairies are able to weaken the curse so that Aurora will only fall into a deep sleep instead of dying. Determined to prevent this, the fairies raise Aurora as a peasant in order to protect her. They patiently await her sixteenth birthday, the day the spell can only be broken by a kiss from her true love, Prince Phillip. Aurora is a kind and gentle soul who is loved by all who know her. She is also a strong and courageous woman who is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in. She is a true Disney princess and an inspiration to us all.
