Akira Shigeta was born and raised in a small town in Japan, where he developed a passion for boxing at a young age. He was always the best fighter in his school and would often participate in local tournaments. However, his dreams of becoming a professional boxer were put on hold when he was diagnosed with a rare medical condition that made it difficult for him to move around.
