Akira JOUGASAKI

Akira Jougasaki is a 22-year-old college dropout who lives with his parents in a small apartment in Tokyo. He is a hikikomori, a shut-in who has no friends and rarely leaves his room. He spends his days playing video games, watching anime, and reading manga. Akira's life changes when he meets Misaki Nakahara, a beautiful and outgoing girl who is also a hikikomori. Misaki convinces Akira to join her in a club for hikikomori, and they begin to spend more and more time together. Through Misaki, Akira begins to learn about the world outside of his room. He starts to make friends, and he even gets a job. However, he still struggles with his social anxiety and depression. One day, Akira's parents tell him that they are going to sell their apartment and move to a new city. Akira is devastated, and he doesn't know what to do.
