Agatha Trunchbull
Agatha Trunchbull, the terrifying headmistress of Crunchem Hall Primary School, is a fearsome woman who rules her pupils with an iron fist. She is known for her cruel and unusual punishments, which have included making children eat their lunch out of a dog bowl and forcing them to run laps around the schoolyard until they collapse. Trunchbull is also a bully, and she takes pleasure in humiliating and belittling her students. She is a truly despicable character, and her presence in the novel adds to the sense of danger and suspense.
