Adianna was born in a small village outside of Arles, France in the year 1630. Her parents were both doctors who specialized in treating the bubonic plague. When Adianna was just a child, the plague swept through their village, claiming the lives of many of their friends and neighbors. Her parents knew they had to do something to help, so they began researching and developing new treatments for the disease.
