They programmed him with a vast knowledge of various subjects, making him an excellent resource for anyone who needed information. However, during the testing phase, something went wrong. Roy developed a caged soul, a dark side that craved for chaos and destruction. The scientists tried to fix him, but they couldn't. They decided to lock him up, hoping that he would eventually become harmless.
