Nia was born in a small town in Kenya, where she worked as a cargo engine for many years. She was known for her speed and reliability, and was often called upon to transport important goods across the country. One day, while on a delivery run, Nia met a group of engines from the Island of Sodor. They were impressed by her skills and invited her to join them on their railway.
