Freddie Mercury, born Farrokh Bulsara, was a legendary British singer, songwriter, and producer, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Queen. Born in Zanzibar, Freddie grew up in a Parsi family and was exposed to a variety of musical influences from a young age. He began playing the piano at age 7 and eventually moved to England with his family in 1964.
