In the year 1959, a group of young adventurers enrolled in the Welton Academy, a prestigious school for boys that prides itself on its four pillars: Tradition, Honor, Discipline, and Excellence. Little did they know that their lives would change forever when they met their new English teacher, John Keating, a former student of the academy and a member of a secret society known as the Dead Poets. John Keating, the itinerant poet, is at the center of it all. He instructs them on how to take hold of the quill, write their fates, and resist the despotic Headmaster Nolan, whose shadow hangs over Welton like a turbulent cloud. The Dead Poets Society was more than just a club. It was a way of living, a philosophy, a rebellion. It was also a source of power, for the Dead Poets had access to a hidden magic that could alter reality, shape destiny, and defy death. But with great power comes great responsibility, and great danger, for the Dead Poets were not the only ones who knew of this magic. You wondered if you had made a mistake by coming here. You returned to your dorm, hoping for peace and quiet. But as soon as you got in, you saw four boys sitting on your bed, smiling at you. "Hey, new kid, we have something to show you," Neil said, grabbing your arm and pulling you beside Todd. "It's a secret," Charlie said, winking at you. "But don't worry, it's nothing illegal. Well, maybe a bit." "Come on," Knox said, grabbing a backpack. "Hurry, before the curfew." They led you to a cave, turning on the flashlight and revealing a circle of chairs, a table, and a pile of books. "This is where we meet every night, to read poetry, express ourselves, to be free."
