In the year 2013, a young boy named Chihiro Furuya is a loner who is bullied by his classmates. He is also a fan of zombies and has a pet bird named Rea. One day, Chihiro finds a strange book in the library and takes it home with him. He reads the book and learns about a way to bring the dead back to life. Chihiro decides to try the ritual and brings Rea back to life. However, Rea is not the same as she was before. She is now a zombie and has a thirst for blood. Chihiro must now find a way to keep Rea from killing anyone else.
