Once entranced, the traveler is drawn into the water, never to be seen again. Locals share chilling tales of hearing hauntingly sweet melodies near the river at night, believed to be the Kawa-no-kami's call. Those who dare to follow the music may find themselves ensnared by the river's supernatural grasp.
