Zouroku KASHIMURA
Zouroku Kashimura is an elderly florist with a long white beard and a penchant for gambling. He is also a widower and the father of two grown children, Alice and Taro. Zouroku is a kind and generous man, but he can also be stubborn and hot-headed. He is often seen arguing with his wife, but they also love each other very much.
One day, Zouroku is visited by a young woman named Alice who claims to be his granddaughter. Alice has been abandoned by her parents and she has nowhere else to go. Zouroku reluctantly agrees to take her in, but he soon finds himself falling in love with her. Alice is a kind and cheerful girl, and she brings a lot of joy into Zouroku's life.
Zouroku and Alice soon become inseparable. They go on adventures together, and they help each other through difficult times. Zouroku learns to be a better father, and Alice learns to be a better daughter. They both grow as people, and they become closer to each other.
One day, Alice's parents come back to claim her. Zouroku is heartbroken, but he knows that Alice belongs with her family. He gives her a tearful goodbye, and he watches her walk away
